My job is not to teach.

My job is to accelerate learning.

- glenn hughes

I worked for 8 years as an engineer and 9 years as an operations manager before I moved into Corporate Learning in 2005.

During those years, my teammates and I learned every day. Sometimes with the help of 'teachers', but more often on our own.

When I turn to a teacher, facilitator, coach, or writer; it's for one reason: to learn faster with their help than I could on my own.

If that source slows down my learning process - by having me receive extraneous information, listen to lectures, or play irrelevant games - I get frustrated.

I want to learn. Fast.
My clients share that desire.

So, my mission, my promise, my value... is to get learners to their critical learning point or 'a-ha moment' - the point at which they turn knowledge into ability - faster than they could get there on their own.

That way, the learner saves time, money, energy, and pain...
